Firstly, I'm sorry about the delay in posting, there were some technical problems and I couldn't edit the website for a few days. However, I did use the time productively, and I've been sculpting. Which leads me onto my second point, what I've been sculpting. Following on from my previous post about the vampire, I've continued sculpting the face, and it's nearly done. The pictures aren't as good as I'd like, hopefully I'll be able to get some better ones soon.
This is actually my first fully sculpted face, so I'm rather proud of it. I used an online tutorial and reference pictures initially, but later I abandoned the tutorial and just tried to make the face look as accurate as possible. The face itself is now finished (although I may later and alter the chin), so now I've just got the hair left to sculpt.
It would appear that sculpting hair is not very easy. I'm not quite sure how I'll sculpt it yet, but I'm not happy with it as it currently is so I'll have another go later. After that I need to make some changes to the rest of the model, not least giving her arms. However, I'm certainly very pleased with what I've managed so far. Thank you for reading, and please let me know what you think of my first face!
