Hello again! I'm back with some photos of progress on real models again this week, and in the form of some Normans (as the title probably gave away). These are the commission I've received from two fellow re-enactors, not in Manchester but from other cells, to model them in their re-enactment wargear.
As you can see, the models have only been assembled so far - it's almost the easter holidays and I'll get to go home from uni, at which point I'll do most of the sculpting together. Since both of the people who've commissioned the models are quite high ranking, both models will need a bit of work on the shields, the chainmail extending to cover the whole arms, and surcoats for both. The first of them will also need some sculpting on the helmet, while the second needs some changes tot he shape of the face and some hair sculpting (which I'm not looking forward to, it won't be an easy task). Anyways, many thanks for reading!
