I thought I'd put the picture of the Ork first this time - he hasn't had much time in the spotlight recently. I've finished painting the yellow on him this week, and I'm relatively pleased with the results. The yellow's still not perfect, but it's better than many of my previous attempts. I'm now onto painting the metal areas, which I think should probably be quite dark and rusty, before finishing off the final details (and handing him over to my girlfriend Jas of course).
I've also finished off painting Sherlock Holmes' coat (god that was a long slog...) which means that I'm about to move onto the belt and harness for the mechanical arm thingys. I want to try and have him finished quite soon as the hardest part is now finished - as an aside, Infamy Miniatures' Kickstarter starts later this week, and I'd strongly advise checking it out, the models they make are fantastic to paint and wonderfully
My name is Chris Nelson, I'm a hobbyist. I started around eight years ago with Lord of the Rings as my first system, however I prefer painting to gaming.
