Well, I've been working on the diorama recently and it's great fun to build. I've finished building both of the models, so I'm showing Abbadon in this post and Loken in the next. Loken is going to be painted in several stages (notably, the cloak will be separate until I've finished the armour), so I've blue tacked the other pieces on for this photo. Following on from my last post, I decided to pin Abbadon's arms so I can swap them whenever I feel like it. In fact, it was only while I was writing that my post that I thought of pinning him. I'm looking forward to painting him, but I doubt I'll use him much during games, I personally prefer Loken both as a character and a model. I'm not really sure how to paint these models, I think they'd look good in reflective armour. If you don't know what I mean (and I don't blame you), take a look at Joe Tomaszweki's version of Marneus Calgar. However, I wouldn't want to have to replicate this across a whole army, so I might just paint the armour to look weathered and chipped.
