Greetings, I'm back again with some new model progress! I was meaning to post this a few days ago, but didn't get a chance to, so the model's actually a little more finished than the picture shows at the moment. As you can see, it's a commissar converted from the plastic clampack figure - I used his hat converting the Lord High Commissar from the Tempestus Scions set, so he needed a new head (which came from a Space Marine scout, I think it fits quite nicely).

Hello again! I'm back with some photos of progress on real models again this week, and in the form of some Normans (as the title probably gave away). These are the commission I've received from two fellow re-enactors, not in Manchester but from other cells, to model them in their re-enactment wargear. Greetings all! I'm back again, and unfortunately due to uni work I don't have too much to show at the moment. I have, however, taken on a pair of model commissions so expect to see some work in progress photos of those quite soon. I also received this in the post today, it's a base from Black Swan Miniatures, courtesy of the Mengel Miniatures painting competition that I mentioned a few weeks ago. It's a really beautiful casting, far better quality than nearly anything I've ever experienced, and I'm very much looking forward to getting a model on it and painting it - expect a full review when that happens! |
